The work of Paolo Soleri, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright was a one of the first proponents of ecological architecture.

Cosanti is the studio and shop where the famous Soleru bells are handmade and sold. The habitable spaces are built into the earth to provide passive cooling from the hot desert. Opening to the sky natural light provides passive illumination to the display and work space. The earthy, concrete construction molds into organic shapes.
