Architrave Design Build Ltd., recently opened a second office in Nanoose Bay. This small homestead building was once the General Store for the area and then the local Post Office was added to the mix for a few centuries.
Architrave lovingly restored this gem to turn of the century splendour, utilizing the storefront space and maximizing the comfort of the home behind. The frontage parapet, cylinder glass and original wood floors within speak to a simple, classic design of businesses from this era.
In September, Margot hosted a tea for some local ladies and interested parties to view the renovations and share some stories about the building’s history.
